Wedding Crashers or Unexpected Entertainment

Winchester, MA – This is a small vignette from  Lisa + Gabe’s wedding at the Griffin Museum of Photography. Their full wedding will hit the blog roll in a bit, but I didn’t want this story to get lost.

So about 5 minutes after the bride arrives at the venue we can hear and see a marching band and football team coming down from the center of Winchester. And it didn’t take long to realize that they were coming right down Shore Rd. and would pass by the museum on the way. The excitement was pretty overwhelming! Especially when the bride says “They’re even wearing my wedding colors!” Of course we were going to get them involved in some photos!

As wedding photographers we’re always expecting the unexpected, but something on this level of surprise is rare and we’re so happy we caught it. This was a great ice breaker to begin the wedding,  I wish I could order homecoming parades for all of our weddings
