Part three of my Family Lifestyle series: Family Activity is visiting a farm with the McKenna family. I love how most kids have a fascination with all things animals. I was great to see little Jake again and finally get to meet his little sister. Below is what mom had so say about what makes this activity special to their family.
As a family we love being outdoors…doing anything and everything. We are in a unique place in our lives where we are living at a private school where my husband works. Life is hectic with an 8 Month Old baby girl and a hilarious and adventurous 4 Year Old boy and busy schedules. When we are able to find some free time for some family fun our first choice is to head down to the school’s farm. Yes..they have a farm. Complete with Cows, Sheep, Llama’s, Roosters, Chickens, Donkey’s and even Emu’s.
It is a great family activity for all of us. The kids loving watching the animals and following them around and it’s a wonder to watch them interact with the animals. It brings back some great childhood memories. With all that we have going on in our lives it’s a great way for us to get outside and spend some quality time together. -Kelly
