Beach Plum Inn, Menemsha | Gay Head Light House, Aquinnah
The Island of Martha’s Vineyard – We had the privilege of photographing Leanne + Dan’s wedding on Martha’s Vineyard on Memorial Day weekend. Everything was absolutely so gorgeous and we’ve been trying really hard to get a sneak peek out, but without internet it’s been tough. The wedding getting ready and reception was at the Beach Plum Inn in Menemsha and the ceremony was at the Gay Head Lighthouse in Aquinnah; both locations are on the western, less populated side of the island. So we chose to stay in a tiny little cottage in Chilmark, MA. The only downside is the zero cell service and internet, but in all honesty this is the first time we’ve truly disconnected in a long time.
Anyway, back to the wedding… It was an absolutely beautiful experience and after staring at weather forecasts for 10 days, we couldn’t have been happier for the couple. We have a couple hundred photographed selected as our “photographers’ edit” but we are only going to show a few right here and post another, longer blog in a few days.
