Plymouth, MA – Jen + Nate’s wedding has a simple elegance in the details. The flowers, the dress, the rings; all singularly beautiful but collectively more powerful as they represent Jen + Nate’s day. The flowers are especially colorful and certainly ties everything in together quite nicely. The details bring individuality to a wedding’s design. The bride and groom spend time choosing the elements they like and they are a definite reflection of the couple’s style and personality.
Letting them be themselves…
Lowell, MA – While working with young children it’s always our goal to create images that show off their personality. The best way to do this is to plan some time during the session that is devoted to just having fun and playing. This session with Lilee (around 18 mo. in these images) shows a child just having fun which allows for the wonderfully expressive moments. At 18 months there is very little posing going on anyway, as you can imagine, so it’s natural to allow the child’s mood and energy level to dictate the pace of the session.
I know what you’re thinking, but it IS possible.
Chelmsford, MA - This is the time of year for family gatherings and reunions, which means it’s also the time of the year to start putting together the “BIG” family portrait. It takes a lot of work to organize but when it’s done right this picture becomes an instant family heirloom.
In this particular picture, this family gathered from all over the country for a yearly summer party. We were able to complete this session with all the family breakdowns in under an hour, which meant that everyone went right back to the party! Concord, MA – One of the most tortuous parts of the photography profession is the desire for more gear. Some of it is just for fun or convenience and some of it is necessary for a certain shot or look. A couple weeks back, we rented the Canon 100mm L IS 2.8 Macro lens basically to test it out for a possible future purchase. And the answer was clear, that this lens was a perfect fit for our camera bag… but we just might rent it a few more times before that happens
