Where’s your engagement session going to be?
Mendon, MA – Here’s one of our favorite engagement sessions of the summer and you may recognize these two as we’ve just posted the sneak peek to their wedding. Heather and Dave chose Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, MA for their engagement session and it was a very interesting choice. It was one of those “scattered showers” kind of spring day and without an opportunity for a rain date we crossed our fingers and toughed it out. We arrived a couple hours before closing and we had the whole place to ourselves, which was pretty special.
Choosing an interesting and meaningful location can make an engagement session that much more special. It helps to create a comfortable atmosphere and break the ice a bit between photographer and subject. Heather and Dave’s session is a prime example of this. These two are so sweet and cute around each other that it made it super easy to have a great time.
the cheezy carved lion cracked me up, but then the deer pics were just too unique and awesome! I always browse other blogs when I have a shoot coming up just for inspiration. I hope I get to sleep tonight, all these fun ideas, but darn, no deer here.
