Q. What do you get when you combine a beautiful, uncompromisingly optimistic, West Coast girl on roller skates, with a sometimes bearded, always handsome, East Coast guy with a sharp sense of humor?
A. The Pizzutis!!!
In the fall of 2003, we met at Brooks Institute of Photography, both studying photojournalism. Knowing we were destined for each other we moved from California to New England and started Pizzuti Studios in 2005. And that is how this wonderful journey began.
We are two people who couldn’t be more different, or more perfect for each other.
One of us stays up late working on designing albums, the latest sewing project, or making dream shopping lists; while the other is up early responding to emails, reading the news and sports scores, making up reasons to buy new golf clubs and taking care of the cats.
One is full of rainbows and unicorns, while the other is quick with a witty comment or two.
One is a big time Boston sports fan, while the other one can’t believe 60 Minutes is late again because of “another stupid sports game.”
We are both foodies and often yell out random cravings to each other. We love our kitties, named Carl and Anderson. And this work has brought more enjoyment into our lives than we ever could imagine. Through photography, we have been invited into the lives of so many incredible people and made them happy. That’s pretty special.
