Thumb’s Up for Mom and Dad!Lowell, MA – A few months ago we had the Mauro family up to the studio for a combination family and maternity session. We would ordinarily approach these two distinct types of sessions from different angles, but here we just simplified everything and focused on the family dynamic. Our goal heading in was to portray a young family growing together, both individually and as a unit. Looking back on the session we’re very happy with the results. Oh and the ‘thumbs up’ image was hilarious and was the direct result of asking a 4 yr. old how he feels about being a big brother.
Salem, MA - We love documenting families as they grow. Not too long after their castle wedding, Matt and Melissa found out they were expecting. So we were incredibly excited for their maternity portraits, which we shot at their favorite park in Salem. Kerri and Matt are expecting their first child! We are so excited for them and their family, and feel privileged to have been their chosen photographers for their first family portraits. Here is a glimpse at some favorites from our on-location maternity portrait session.
Shawn and Jenny are expecting Rosslyn any day now and we are all super excited for them. This past weekend we had all three up to the loft for a maternity session, and we all had a great time. Ashley and I have watched this family grow over the years and it is truly a beautiful thing to witness. Thanks again to Shawn and Jenny for another amazing family photography experience; with much more to come … including Rosslyn’s newborn portraits … we can’t wait.
