"Boston South End Engagement Session"

So Excited About Our Feature in Beantown Bride!

Boston, MA – Hooray! One of our engagement sessions from last Fall has been picked up and featured by the popular wedding planning site, Beantown Bride! This is our first feature on this incredibly informative resource for MA brides and grooms, but we hope to be featured again real soon! A big thanks to Brittany and the whole Beantown Bride staff! And of course a big thanks to Nicole and Devrin for choosing a perfect engagement session!

Nicole and Devrin will be getting married this coming September at the historic Lyman Estate in Waltham, MA. And last fall, when we were talking about their engagement session, they proposed the idea of a walk through the South End of Boston, ending at the Boston Public Library. I thought it was a great idea and loved that they put so much thought into it and that really made it special.  We can shoot an engagement session anywhere, but when it’s a meaningful location, it adds a lot to the imagery and the experience.

A Classic New England Wedding at The Fruitlands

Harvard, MA –  The Fruitlands in September can be one of the most serene spots in all of New England. Sprawling hills lend a view of Central Massachusetts that is really quite striking even on a dull and dreary day.  But on this wedding day we saw a little bit of everything; from bright sun and puffy clouds to complete overcast only to yield to a spectacular sunset. As wedding photographers, we don’t always get weather and light that cooperates with our plans. But sometimes… it just all works out. Here are some of our favorite images from this day.

Our Wedding Album Design

Let’s jump in the Way Back machine to 2009, where we had the opportunity to photograph Ashley and Tim’s wedding. Now, these are dear friends of ours and probably one of our favorite weddings of all time and we’ve already blogged their wedding ages ago. We’ve also finished laying out their album and wanted to show off this gorgeous couple again.

The Acton Arboretum

Acton, MA – This is truly one of our favorite spots West of Boston. So when we need a go-to location for an engagement session, this is certainly going to be considered. It’s a nice little scenic spot with tons of trees and flowers and all kinds of plant varietals. So if you are into gardening and plants or just love being in nature this might be a cool spot to check out. Allison and Dustin loved the idea  for their engagement session and we had the perfect Summer evening for it. Here are some of our favorites!
