High School Senior Portraits | Class of 2011

Lowell, MA - High School Senior Portraits are so much fun to shoot! As a person who really appreciates art and photography, Rachel was an incredible subject. We started off with some simple, in-studio portraits and worked our way around the wonderful city of Lowell, MA. Occasionally for our location shoots, we sometimes give our version of a walking tour of downtown Lowell and hit up some of our favorite spots around town. Rachel and her mom are not from the area, but liked the urban and industrial feel in some of our images.

As for our style and philosophy, we really don’t change anything for High School Seniors. The traditional posing that we all remember from High School Senior Photography doesn’t really fit our style, so we just trust our vision and make every creative attempt to bring out character and personality in our portraits.

An Engagement Session at the end of Fall

Boston, MA – Here is just a few images from an engagement session with some really down-to-earth people. We had met Rob + Colleen in the the Spring of 2010, but they wanted their engagement session close to their wedding so they could get a feeling of what it is like to be photographed. We definitely understand that most people really don’t know what it’s going to feel like to have that lens pointed right at them and it’s our job as professionals to ease them into it. And along with being a great icebreaker for portraits, it’s a great way for all of us to get to know each other. That is so important! We had a great time at their wedding too, which should be up on the blog soon!

Just gotta love a Greek wedding!

Haverhill, MA – Greek weddings are full of tradition, dancing and money flying everywhere. What’s not to love?

This was a perfectly gorgeous September wedding at the Holy Apostles Church in Haverhill, MA. We enjoy photographing Greek Orthodox weddings because there is always a deep sense of ceremony and family. This leads to tremendous opportunities for us as wedding photographers. John and Jessy chose DiBurro’s for there reception and everything went off without a hitch. DiBurro’s does a great job at taking excellent care of the guests and wedding party. After the formalities the reception just went crazy with traditional dancing. So much fun and that’s another reason to love these weddings! Stay tuned for the photo booth from this wedding!
