A Perfect Day for a Perfect CoupleBedford, MA – Couples that are so much fun, like these two, really make our job as wedding photographers so rewarding. Their wedding at the Bedford Glen Doubtree in Bedford, MA was a wonderful event. It was an absolutely perfect day, full of love and laughter and we were so happy to be a part of it!
An Engagement Session Stroll through the South End of BostonBoston, MA - In this session here, we got to explore a little bit of the South End and made our way to the Boston Public Library. It was a gorgeous September evening and the weather and the light were perfect for an engagement session. Sometimes it’s a bit of a challenge to come up with an original idea for an engagement session, but what this session right here shows is that it doesn’t have to be somewhere on a post card, it can be just talking a walk. We love going on neighborhood walks and just letting our couples hang out, hold hands and get all snuggly while we find the light, composition and everything that goes into making a thoughtful portrait. Our goal is to show the love, happiness and joy!
An Engagement Session WalkBoston, MA - As an engagement session idea, Erin and Brendon, wanted to take a walk around Commonwealth Avenue in Boston and eventually end up at the Esplanade. It was a perfect late Summer evening for a walk around the city. Plus, you can be anywhere in Boston and fine amazing spots for portraits, but the Comm Ave area was definitely special for Erin and Brendon. That’s what we like… when our couples feel some passion about their engagement portrait location. It allows them to get in the moment a bit quicker and warm up to the camera as well.
Hurricane Shmurricane: The ReceptionNewport, RI – The reception started at noon, which was a refreshing change from the late night Summer weddings we are used to working. The bright afternoon sun really illuminated the entirety of the ballroom, which was a wedding photographer’s dream. And although a handful of guests could not attend the Monday wedding, the rest of the crowd was in good spirits and had a good time laughing off the whole hurricane experience. So, after many tense moments staring at weather reports, evacuation routes and emergency notices, Mike and Kayleigh had a fantastic coastal New England Wedding at the Ocean Cliff Hotel. But this is not the last you will see of this beautiful couple, as we also scheduled a Rock The Dress session with them and guess what…? Yup, it rained… but we did manage to get in a mini-session at the Crane Beach, which will up on the blog very soon. |
