Initial meeting and consultation — The goal of the initial consultation is to discuss your wedding day specifics, questions, and concerns. This is also an opportunity to become familiar with our photography style, philosophy, workflow and most importantly, our personalities. Sample albums and art books will be available to show examples of final products.
Engagement Session — The engagement session is a great way to get used to being photographed and comfortable with our shooting style. During the session a variety poses, looks, and expressions will be used to help us determine how to capture your true personalities. This knowledge will extend to your wedding day, ensuring your satisfaction with the final picture story of your wedding day. The engagement session usually lasts 1.5 – 2 hours depending upon location, lighting, and weather.
Pre-Wedding Consultation — It is important we know the exact itinerary and timeline of your wedding day. As a standard practice, an information sheet is completed, providing arrival times, addresses, names of the important wedding party members, and a list of all special photographs you are expecting. We are in the business of capturing moments, so it is essential for us to anticipate your day’s events to properly capture the moments. If we have yet to photograph your venue, we are more then happy to go over the location with you to learn more about your own vision of the day.
Wedding Day — On your big day our goal is to focus our full attention on capturing every moment. To accomplish this we arrive early, and allow time for setup so as to not miss a single second. We also coordinate with the function manager or wedding planner to make certain everything runs smoothly.
Presentation Meeting — The typical turn-around time is about 3 weeks. A presentation meeting is arranged for you to preview a slide show, deliver your digital proofs (if applicable) and online gallery proofs. Time is also allotted to solidify your album options and begin planning the album design.
Rock the Dress Session — This is a creative photography session, providing the opportunity for you to rock your dress one more time on location. This may take place weeks, months, or sometimes a year after your wedding date. Usually there is a limited time for formal portraits on your wedding day so the “Rock-the-Dress” session allows us to use our photography skills to produce portraits that will wow your friends and family. It is usually a half day event of intense shooting at an unusual or interesting location. For one more day you get to be treated like a super model, and you deserve it!
Album Design - We work with closely with our couples to create something unique as they are. We offer hundreds of customization options and nothing ever goes to print until our couple is totally in love with it.

Q: Do you have backup equipment?
A: We bring backup equipment to every wedding. High-end digital SLR’s are the industry standard, but the unexpected may happen, so we are always prepared.
Q: Do you have backup plan if one photographer isn’t available?
A: Yes we do. If anything happens, and one of us can not make it, we rely on a network of photographers of equal caliber to fill-in.
Q: Do you take a breaks during the day?
A: We take turns resting during dinner, because there are limited photo opportunities during this time, but we do not want to miss anything.
Q: Does travel time count as coverage time?
A: Yes, if there is travel time between venues.
Q: Do you charge for travel?
A: As Boston wedding photographers we primarily serve the majority of New England, but we are available for assignment throughout the U.S. A travel charge is only applied for venues more than 120 miles (one way) from our studio.
Q: When is the final balance due? Can I pay with credit card?
A: The final balance is due no later than one month before the wedding date. We accept Credit Cards, but not for the deposit. We ask that the deposit be paid via personal check, certified bank check or money order.
Q: Do I get the copyright to the images?
A: If you have purchased the digital proofs from your wedding you will also have purchased the license for personal reproduction of the images. Meaning you may have these reprinted infinitely but you CANNOT sell the images distribute or profit from them. All copyright remains exclusively with Pizzuti Studios. All of our Collections come standard with the digital proof disk.
Q: What is the difference between a digital file and digital proofs disk?
A: The digital proofs disk contain ALL images from your wedding. A digital file is only one image.
Q: How soon will I be able to view my images after the wedding?
A: You will be able to view your images 3-4 weeks after your wedding date. We always set up a meeting to show a slideshow of images from your wedding.
Q: How long do you keep the digital files and how do you store them?
A: We archive your digital files on archival DVDs, external hard drives, and on an external server for 2 years after your wedding.
COMMUNICATION: We are available to you throughout the day, please don’t hesitate to ask questions or give us direction, we are here for you and we want to give you the best pictures possible.
TIMELINE: Schedule enough time between the ceremony and reception for portraits. Larger wedding parties and families often take extra time. We usually start with the largest groups, elder family members, and children first. Then wedding party and finally the two of you. If you are not superstitious, you may consider scheduling the formal portraits before the ceremony. This will give the two of the opportunity to connect and make for some amazing captured moments and reduce the time spent away from your guests after the ceremony. Fall weddings are very popular so if you are planning an evening wedding make sure enough light is available for outdoor portraits.
HYDRATION: On such a busy day we often forget some basic human needs. Drink plenty of water in the days before your wedding and right before you start getting ready it will help your skin glow and don’t forget to eat as well. When your body requires nourishment it tends to show both on your face and in your mood, which will affect the outcome of your images.
SPECIAL PHOTOGRAPHS: When photographing very large groups, such as extended family or all of your guests be sure to prepare, this can take up to 30 minutes, pick a time and keep everyone informed, perhaps with a notice from the DJ. Designate an individual who is familiar with your guests to help round everyone up.
REMEMBER TO RELAX: This is the day you have been planning for your entire life, you deserve to enjoy it, plus when you are relaxed and happy we can capture better more natural moments.
